Amazon Book Overview

International Superstar. Since his death eighty years ago, Harry Houdini’s life has been chronicled in books, in film, and on television. Now, in this groundbreaking biography, renowned magic expert William Kalush and bestselling writer Larry Sloman team up to find the man behind the myth.

Drawing from millions of pages of research, they describe in vivid detail the passions that drove Houdini to perform ever-more-dangerous feats, his secret life as a spy, and a pernicious plot to subvert his legacy.

“The Secret Life of Houdini” traces the arc of the master magician’s life from desperate poverty to worldwide fame — his legacy later threatened by a group of fanatical Spiritualists led by esteemed British author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Initiating the reader along the way into the arcane world of professional magic, Kalush and Sloman decode a life based on deception, providing an intimate and riveting portrayal of Houdini, the man and the legend.

For a long time, this page had a picture of “Esmeralda” and nothing else. As you can see I updated the photo. Just the other day, I was watching a documentary about (Ancient History) that is when I decided to post some magic links on this page. Truly, we are all explorers on the great sea of life.  I know you’re curious about the supernatural and witchcraft.

Is witchcraft or dark magic real? Do ghosts really exists? I will answer the questions by saying” If you want to find something to change your life. Focus on connecting with your authentic (real) self and remember that you are the enduring presence of divine love.”

Also, reach out to someone in need. Helping others is a joyful magical experience.

One more thing don’t engage in witch hunts. Love Shelley

Quote by T.S. Eliot

We shall not cease from exploration

And the end of our exploring

Will be to arrive where we started

And know the place for the first time…

Film and Television

Here is “Arsenic and Old Lace” one of my favorite classic movies starring Cary Grant and Priscilla Lane. Not only does this dark comedy have a great cast of characters. The film, was directed by Frank Capra! He won three Oscars during the 1930s. He also served as President of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences.

This movie is great fun. I always laugh and never get tired of watching it. However, I think you must  be a classic movie buff to get the witty dialogue. Oh, and one of the actors is a scene stealer. See if you can guess who it is.
